As a person that has only one pair of chinese brand sneakers I am probably not the best person to comment on named brand basketball sneakers but here is my "Really" take

• To buy one one of these shoes is the same as one months rent for me in Fiji
• It looks like the shoes are more fashion then functional. I wonder if the shoes are having a significant effect on performance.
• Jordan got so big he doesnt need the swoosh logo on his shoes
• Generation @ is not into NBA shoes as Generation X. I think xgames/rap type shoes will take market share from NBA shoes
• As shown in Simmons latest article NBA moved from markerting teams to marketing people and that was one of the reasons for the the huge growth in the NBA.
