1st new year

Luckily as Fiji is on the dateline the people in fiji and tonga are the first countries to celebrate new years.

That is why there were these gimmick holidays for people to be the first people to celebrate 2000 in Fiji.

We actually spent new years eve 2006 at a workmates house. It ended up pretty good we went through three bottles of Australian wine, one bottle of champagne and some special fijian rum punce. I was supposed to not drink as I am working today but my workmate was to influential ended up sleeping in to 9am.
