Injustice of Genarlow Wilson
I have just read a story from Wright Thompson who is a senior writer for ESPN.com and ESPN The Magazine.
Its probably once of the worst examples of unfairness in the justice system. Thompson tells the story of how Genarlow Wilson, a then 17-year-old high school football player, was sentenced to 10 years in prison without parole for having consensual oral sex with a 15-year-old girl who admittedly initiated the act.
The main culprit in this case is Douglas County prosecuter Eddie Barker.
