Whats new with Blogger in 2011

Blogger has just announced new abilities in SXSW. Blogger introduced template designer, real-time stats, comments spam filtering, mobile templates, web fonts, and more.

I like the new version of blogger the only issues I am having is that when adding pictures it seems to swap the different methods of adding the photo's. In the stat's tab and "traffic sources" the referring URL section is confusing if majority of the referrals are Google searches. May need to include the entry pages and who is on now.

Based on Alexa, Blogspot has had an increase of pageview by 15% over the last three months. The increase must be a sign of the turbulent times that we are having as I thought users would be moving more to social media e.g facebook. So expect the trend of pageviews to be negative.

Interesting that South by South West is getting to be a much bigger event where a lot of major announcements are now made.
