Blacks are the easily the biggest unemployed group so have more time to spend watching T,V and as they have so much time free time watching tv they would not have to worry about watching programs later which is what you usually use DVR for.

I have been watching less and less tv over the years due to the internet usage and time with my kids. What has been strange is now I am in tv heaven after moving from Fiji with only two channels with now so many channels and shows to watch. In our household, the stop what we are doing TV to watch is reality shows Biggest Loser and Surviver. What is also amazing is that we have gone from having one tv to around 11 people in our house to five tv's with eight people in our house here and my family would be now watching less tv.
Currently Fiji is playing in the Adelaide Rugby Sevens tournament, we are not able to watch it on tv due to you needing pay tv to watch it. So what we are doing is watching it on a stream and I wonder how many people are watching the cricket world cup on a tv stream and this usage really needs to be tracked by nielsen. As you still have to watch the same commercials.
