How does Google Index?

I have always been interested in how google indexes the web and it was partly answered by Matt Cutts who also has an interesting blog.

Since this blog has not been indexed in the last 2 weeks I was actually looking for someone at google to email about getting this blog indexed. It looks like I have found him and shows the transparency of Google. Wont email though as it doesnt seem right.

Other Google links are a way to sort your email with gmail and the second is a trend tool that can be used to check you searching habits which is pretty cool
