Flash mob dancing or silent disco is when a flash mob is created for people to meet at a certain location and then dance to their portable music players.

At various London Underground stations, people gathered with their portable music devices, and at a set time began dancing to their music. It was reported that more than 4,000 people participated at London Victoria station.
Sometimes flash mobs can be dangerous an example is flash mob at basketball court in venice beach that ended up in a shooting between gang members.
